The Capacitor Discharge Ignition, commonly known as CDI is a type of ignition system. CDI outboard motors significantly increase the performance of your OEM pivot points. The basic CDI system consists of a trigger mechanism, coils, and a box. It is usually black and contains capacitors and other circuitry. The trigger instructs the box to fire. The case uses capacitors to calculate when to fire which coil and zap go to the spark plug indefinitely. It is also in charge of enhancing the strength of the spark in the spark plug. Key Features:
